On December 21, 2009, Citrix extended the Trade-Up to XenDesktop 4 Program to include offers for customers with XenApp Advanced Edition licenses. XenApp Advanced customers with active Subscription Advantage are now eligible to take advantage of special 2-for-1 and 1-for-1 Trade-Up pricing. XenApp Advanced customers with expired Subscription Advantage can also take advantage of a 1-for-1 Trade-Up offer. Program pricing is available in the updated Partner Value Proposition Card in the Trade-up Key Play in the Citrix Success Kits (see link below).
Process - To process XenApp Advanced Trade-Up orders now, all XenApp Advanced Trade-Up orders need to be based on a Sales Exception. Once the SKUs become available, XenApp Advanced Trade-Up orders will be treated like any other order. At that time, no more Sales or SCM Exceptions will be required. Similar to the other Trade-Up options, the XenApp Advanced Trade-Up promotion is currently planned to expire on June 30, 2010.
